“Peanut” Jones
    Wasdon Lee “Peanut” Jones, 45, died Tuesday evening, April 28, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah.  The Evans County native had lived in Tattnall County most of his life.  He was the owner of Jones Trucking, and was of the Baptist faith.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Sandra Jones; his first wife, Crystal Kennedy Jones; and his sister Pat Pinckney.
    He is survived by his wife, Tina Knight Manning Jones of Reidsville; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Joey Estep of Waycross; three stepsons:  Bubba Kennedy of Glennville, Michael E. Manning of Buford, and Andrew Manning of Savannah; three sisters and brothers-in-law:  Valree and Steve Holton of Reidsville, Jean and Lester Slaton of Reynolds, and Peggy Munch of Port St. Lucie, Florida; three brothers:  Bill Bargeron of Hagan, Bob and Debbie Jones of Ailey, and Chuck Jones of Claxton; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2, from the Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy McDuffie officiating.  Interment was in the Battle Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
    Memorials can be given to Tattnall C.A.R.E.S., P.O. Box 2356, Reidsville, Georgia  30453, or to the Battle Creek Primitive Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Jesse Cranford, 323 Cranford Lane, Reidsville, Georgia  30453.
    Active pallbearers were Danny Jones, Ronald Curl, Malcolm Jones, Travis Jones, Tony O’Neal, and John Mackinnon.
    Honorary pallbearers were Charles Bashlor, Joe Bar, Kevin Mosley, and Joey Anderson.
    Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home of Reidsville, Georgia, was in charge of the arrangements.
