Hazel Thomas
Hazel Strickland Thomas, 83, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Glenvue Nursing Home. The Tattnall County native had lived in Glennville all her life. She was employed with Glennville Lingerie and Glenvue Nursing Home. She was a homemaker, and a member of Northside Baptist Church.
She is survived by children, Brian Thomas of Glennville and Roxanne Thomas of Cobbtown; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial was in Glennville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Brian Jim Thomas, Chris Krull, Mason Selph, Nicholas Thompson, Earnest McGlashan, and Brad Grooms.
Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia, was in charge of the arrangements.
