Skyler Rea
 
     A single-vehicle accident took the life of 22-year-old Jonathan “Skyler” Creamer Rea on Hwy. 301 north of Glennville on Tuesday, July 28.
    The accident occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. when the 1999 Jeep Cherokee Rea was driving left the roadway and plowed into a bale of hay in a field alongside Hwy. 301 and then overturned.  The accident site was one mile south of the Evans County line.
    Rea was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was wearing a seat belt.  According to a witness, who was behind Rea’s vehicle, Rea’s vehicle veered off the roadway for no apparent reason.
    Rea, whose family is from Hazlehurst, lived on Bull Street in Glennville.  He had been employed at the Glennville Huddle House for the past two years as a cook and waiter, and was also employed at South Georgia Graphics in Claxton.  He was en route from his job in Claxton to Glennville when the accident occurred.
    Funeral services were held on Friday, July 31, in Hazlehurst.  His survivors include his mother, Karen Creamer; sisters, Shari’ King and Malissa Creamer; stepbrothers, Garrett Crawford and Bryan Crawford; and other relatives.
