Anne Norburg
    Anne Dasher Norburg, 77, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at Effingham County Extended Care.  The Tattnall County native had lived in Savannah most of her life, and was employed with Atlanta Gas Company and Savannah Sugar Refinery, retiring after many years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Norburg; parents, Marcus L. and Mattie Jones Dasher; brothers: Vernon Dasher, Remer Dasher, and Thurmon Dasher; and sisters, Katie D. Rushing and Fannie D. Holland.
    She is survived by one sister, Dean D. King of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 21, from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville, with Dr. Darren Thomas officiating.  Burial was in Battle Creek Church Cemetery.
    Pallbearers were Brett Holland; Edwin Purcell; Mark Dasher; Vernon Dasher, Jr.; Brad Dasher; and Andrew Benton.
    Remembrances can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, 201 Television Circle, Savannah, Georgia  31406.
    Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia, was in charge of the arrangements.
