Linda Emanuel
Linda Elaine Medlin Emanuel, 57, died Friday, November 20, 2009, at her residence. A native of Evans County, she lived most of her life in Daisy. She was a homemaker, and loved spending time with her grandson, whom she adored dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Skinner; and her parents, Lee and Helen Medlin.
She is survived by a daughter, Danielle Deal of Daisy; three sons: Junior Lee (Brandy) Emanuel of Batesville, Arkansas; Jesse Emanuel of Claxton; and Curtis Skinner (Amber Hall) of Daisy; one sister, Carolyn Hutto of Daisy; three brothers: Robert Medlin of Jenkins County, Wayne Medlin of Reidsville, and Jimmy Medlin of Statesboro; four grandchildren: River White, Lucky Emanuel, Emily Skinner, and Brian Christopher Deal, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, from the Glennville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Andrew Nelms and the Rev. Daryl Harn officiating. Interment will be in Anderson Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Deal, Jimmy Medlin, J.R. Emanuel, Jeremy DeLoach, Jackie DeLoach and Heath Strickland.
Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia, is in charge of the arrangements.
