Maggie Stanfield
Margaret “Maggie” Stanfield, 69, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at Community Hospice Inpatient Facility. The Dade County, Florida, native had lived in this area most of her life, and was employed as a security officer with The Southern Company at Plant Hatch. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Stanfield; and grandson, Matthew Stanfield.
She is survived by children: Janet Kicklighter (Michael), Billy Stanfield (Faye), and Ronald Stanfield (Sharon), all of Reidsville; brothers, Donald Currie of Reidsville and Marvin Currie of Davenport, Florida; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 11, from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Hutcheson officiating. Burial was in Glennville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Justin Stanfield, Michael Howard, Bubba King, Brett Thompson, Charlie Iddins, and John Paul LaGrone.
Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia, was in charge of the arrangements.
