Norman Gunter
    Norman Gary Gunter, 47, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at the Community Hospice House of Vidalia after a long illness. He was a native of Florida but lived around the Glennville area for the past 24 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a tractor trailer mechanic, a NASCAR fan, and loved to hunt and fish. He attended Reidsville Church of God and Little Rock Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lee and Bertha Gunter.
    He is survived by two brothers, Daryl Wayne Gunter of Glennville and Jerry Gunter of Lakeland, Florida; two nieces, April (Tray) Riner and Rachel Gunter, both of Glennville; and several great-nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were conducted Friday, December 18,  at 11 a.m. from the Glennville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home. Interment was at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, with the Rev. William Prince officiating.
    Pallbearers were Waymond Gunter, Joe Mincey, Richard Butler, Dave Cruze, Justin Overhosler, and George Reed.
    Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
