Hope Parrish Hope Ann Lashmit Parrish, age 79, died Sunday, January 10, 2010, in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia. She was a native of Petoskey, Michigan, and moved from Miami, Florida, to Glennville in 1967. She worked at the Dairy Queen in Glennville for many years, and later worked at and retired from Rotary Corporation in Glennville after many years. She moved to Vidalia in 1990, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Glennville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lem Parrish; a son, Larry Parrish; her parents, Fred and Viola Fine Lashmit; and two sisters, Betty Foster and Carrie Cooke. She is survived by one daughter, Kay P. Thompson and William Braddy of Vidalia; two sons, Mitchell Howell Parrish and Sandra of New Lisbon, Wisconsin; and Lloyd Parrish and Harriett of Bowden; grandchildren: Melissa Cranford Vinson and Tony of Lyons; Angie Parrish Jones and Darren of Collins; Mindy Parrish Hilliard of Collins; and Michael Cranford of Reidsville; great-grandchildren: Caitlin Vinson, Austin Cranford, Ryley Jones, Cole Jones, C.J. Dubberly, and Jailynn Dubberly; sister, Mary Morris and Robert of Harbor Springs, Michigan; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Parrish of Glennville; and several nieces and nephews.
