"Voicing the community's opinions"
It is a shame that churches are being broken into around Tattnall County. Whoever you are, you’re not stealing from any of the churches. You are stealing from God. He knows who you are. I would rather face going to jail if I were you than having to face the wrath of God.
I just hope the people who voted Nathan “Raw” Deal in have seen where he is in favor of casinos for Georgia. He wants to turn Georgia into Sin City, too, and he also won’t put his income tax records like Governor Barnes has. I just hope that Georgians and the establishment in Atlanta can welcome Governor Barnes back in November.
I think it’s a disgrace that the log trucks delivering corn to Claxton Poultry are damaging the front entrance to the Glennville Memorial Gardens, and they’re running over the grass in front of the Veterans Cemetery. The DOT fixed the damage last year, and now the same thing is occurring again this year.
Some people are so jealous that they let it overcome them and their lives. It’s a sickness, or they need to just grow up. Leave the person you’re jealous of alone, and go on with your life.
On the morning of Friday, August 27, at GES, to the person driving the Taurus, you should remember that there was a long line of parents waiting to drop off their children, and they were held up by you talking; that could have been done on your own time. Be more courteous next time, please.
This is concerning the safety hazard on Hwy. 301 North. At the hatchery grain mill, we have 18-wheelers that are out on 301, and the people coming out from the grain mill has their vision blocked. The DOT and the grain mill need to look into it and see what can be done about it.
If I understand this correctly, when a child is entering the K-4 program, we’re checking to see if a child is a legal resident of Tattnall County, but we refuse to check to see if the child and the parents are legal residents of this country. It doesn’t make any sense.
I was driving down Barnard Street today, and the prisoners had cleaned one side of the road and were working on the other side. The road looks great, and I think it’s wonderful that they have them out there. I wish they didn’t have them working at the school, but they’re doing a good job cleaning up our roads and our town.
Editor’s note: The inmates are usually at the schools when school is not in session.
