Joy Peters
Joy Bowling Peters, age 66, died Wednesday July 21, 2010, at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia. The Ohio native had lived in Reidsville the past nine years. She was a homemaker who loved to read. She was a member of Reidsville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Peters; and brothers, Leonard and Charlie Bowling. She is survived by her sons, Chad Peters of Reidsville, Terry Huff of New York, and Eddie Nickell and Danny Peters, both of Ohio; brothers, Abe and Stanley Bowling of Ohio; sister, Eva McComb of Mississippi; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 25, from Fairview Cemetery in Berea, Kentucky. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice. Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home, Reidsville Chapel, of Reidsville, Georgia, was in charge of the arrangements. |
