Denise Dasher
Denise Roberts Dasher, 49, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Doctors Hospital of Tattnall. The Michigan native had lived in this area most of her life. She was employed at Georgia State Prison in the health care field as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Dane Dasher of Reidsville; daughter, Jennifer Dasher of Reidsville; sons, Dustin Dasher of Glennville and Daniel Dasher (Ashley) of New Branch; father, Ben Roberts of Uvalda; sister, Karen Creamer of Uvalda; brothers: Kevin Roberts of Leesburg, Kenny Roberts of Canton, David Roberts of Hazlehurst, and Dale Roberts of Akin, South Carolina; grandson, Austin Lane Dasher; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 25, at Harmony United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ramon Hernandez officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Brad Bacon, Dearl Creamer, Neal Thompson, Vic Flournoy, John Boyette, and Lew Durrence. Honorary pallbearers were Georgia State Prison Honor Guard and staff.
