Lee Deal
    Lee Mitchell Deal, 22, died Saturday, October 3, 2009.  He was born in Chatham County, and was employed at B & D on Bay Street in Savannah.
    He is survived by his fiancée, Summer Thornburg of Effingham County; his mother, Gail Deal of Bloomingdale; father and stepmother, Larry (Susan) Deal of Bloomingdale; sisters, Stacey (James) Stringer of Bloomingdale and Jamie Durrence of Pooler; stepsister, Lauren Williamson of Statesboro; nieces: Lacey, Kayla, and Cassidy Stringer; nephew, Seth Weeks; paternal grandmother, Marlene Deal of Bloomingdale; aunts and uncles: Buddy (Shirley) Deal of Rincon, James (Sheila) Deal of Glennville, Gaynell (Randy) Bray of Glennville, Linda (Gene) Coleman of Glennville, Joyce (Robbie) Hodges of Guyton, Judy (Jay Outen) Johnson of Bloomingdale, Nancy (David) Stanley of Jesup, Judy (John) Long of Ludowici, Doug (Cathy) Walter of Ludowici, and Glenda (Mike) Curtis of Savannah; and a number of cousins.
    Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, in the Chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Homes, West Chatham Chapel.  Burial was in Gravel Hill Cemetery.

    Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Homes, West Chatham Chapel, in Pooler, Georgia, was in charge of the arrangements.
