Glenda McRae
Glenda Bacon McRae, 45, of Reidsville, died Monday, October 5, 2009, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia. She attended the public schools in Tattnall County, and is a 1982 graduate of Reidsville High School. She was a member of Abundant Life Apostolic Church of the Living God in Glennville where she served as a missionary.
She is survived by her husband, Deacon Lankin McRae of Reidsville; two sons, Steven McRae of Seattle, Washington, and Brian McRae of Reidsville; her father, Rudolph Bacon of Reidsville; four sisters: Regina Grubbs of Glennville; Linda Randolph of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Carol Bacon of Snellville; and Diane Jinks of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; three brothers, Rudolph Bacon, Sr., of Carson, California; Victor Bacon of Glennville; and Emory Bacon of Greenville, South Carolina; and several sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 10, at Mt. Zion #1 Baptist Church in Tyson. Burial was in Robert Chapel Cemetery.
King and Sons Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia, was in charge of the arrangements.
