The cheering crowd was on its feet Friday night as Tattnall County High School (TCHS) senior Dallas Schondelmayer was crowned Homecoming Queen during the half-time festivities at the Homecoming game between the TCHS Battle Creek Warriors and the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers.  Dallas, 17, is the daughter of Lori Schondelmayer and Jamie Boyett of Collins.  She was escorted by her father.  Dallas was crowned by last year’s Homecoming Queen Jessica Durrence.
TCHS senior Marcy Nopal was named Homecoming Princess.  She is the 17-year-old daughter of Armando and Brenda Nopal of Reidsville.  Marcy was also escorted by her father.
Additional members of the 2009 TCHS Homecoming Court included, junior Victoria Todd, the 16-year-old daughter of Lee and Teresa Todd of Glennville; 15-year-old sophomore Destiny Levant, the daughter of Donnie and Andrea Levant of Reidsville; and freshman Cierra Walls, the 14-year-old daughter of Eddie and Dixie Walls of Reidsville.
